Sonnet 1

When one’s hands are tied,
Passions skill deficient
When nothing’s left untried
Yet nothing produced sufficient

Attempted flee from mundane
Thirsting for the poetic
but all that’s found is inane
merely fancy rhetoric

What shall become of thee?
Dreamer lacking aptitude
He who seeks but cannot see
All’s needed, a slack attitude

Lofty concepts not permitted
Write whatever can be fitted

hani, despite the fact that you NEVER use proper punctuation (ha ha :P) you amaze me, on a regular bases, with your fluency in writing and your "aptitude". my favorite so far..i applaud you!
it's brief, follows the standard form of writing sonnets and is handled with very much adeptness.
you make us HL English students proud =)

Good job Hani, unlike the other comments I will applaude you for your work.It is not that easy creating a sonnet for your first time.
